WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:
We’re looking for a Designer / Product Developer to step into a key role during our Designer/Product Developer’s maternity leave. You’ll own the product development process from initial development through final production, ensuring precision, durability, and consistency across collections, while working closely with our Senior Buyer and Creative Director.
This role requires a deep technical understanding of fabrics, washes, dyes, trims, construction, and garment detailing, with the ability to assess feasibility, manage risk, and guide suppliers in solving issues as they arise. A strong working knowledge of pattern logic and fit development is required.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
DESIGN & PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
- Create to product concepts, silhouettes, and functional details across categories
- Translate design intent into clear, production-ready sketches, artworks and techpacks.
- Work closely with Creative Director and Senior Buyer to refine products from idea to execution
OWN THE DEVELOPMENT PROCESS
- You will be in charge of product development from concept to production handover to marketing.
- Create and maintain detailed tech packs, measurements, and construction detail.
- Handle fabric, washes, trim, lab dip, and strike-off development.
- Manage sample rounds, fittings, comments, and approvals.
- A working understanding of pattern logic and fit development
WORK CLOSELY WITH SUPPLIERS
- Collaborate with existing factories and suppliers.
- Support sourcing of fabrics, trims, and components.
- Plan and participate in supplier and factory visits when needed.
Who You Are
- A designer / product developer with a strong technical fashion background.
- Have at least 5 years of experience in design, product development, and production.
- Deep understanding of apparel and/or footwear construction and materials
- Highly experienced in creating tech packs, measurements, and managing fittings
- Calm, structured, and solutions-oriented, you anticipate issues before they happen
- Comfortable working hands-on and independently in a small, focused team
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Exceptional in Adobe Suite and comfortable working in Google Sheets.
