The Monterey Cargo Pant

Cut from a mid weight stretchy cotton ripstop, these cargo pants stay airy year round, so they work from LA to Stockholm and the flight in between. We've kept every detail honest to the original and garment dyed the piece to give it more life. Enjoy angled flap pockets, hidden snap closures, an adjustable waist, and an adjustable hem for the leg opening. Pair them with a tee, a sweater, or whatever else feels right.

Loose relaxed straight fit. True to size in the waist. Adjustable waist and leg opening for better fit. The model is 181 cm tall and is wearing size M.

Machine wash at 30°C. Do not bleach. Iron at medium temperature. Do not dry clean. Do not tumble dry.

How do they fit?
True to size in the waist, with a relaxed and straight fit through the leg.  Adjustable waist lets you customize where they sit.  Elastic opening at ankle, same deal.

How heavy are they?
Midweight at 255 GSM. Structured to hold a clean silhouette, airy enough to wear in heat. Tested through LA in spring and on long flights without overheating.

What is comfort stretch ripstop?
Ripstop is a weave pattern with a stronger reinforcing thread running in a grid through the fabric, originally developed for military uniforms to stop tears from spreading. The comfort stretch comes from the 3% elastane blended into the cotton, so you can really move in these.

Do they work year-round?
Absolutely. We used midweight cotton so they’ll feel airy in warmer weather, but still serve as a comfortable base layer with an overshirt or jacket on cooler days and nights.
