The Lombok Beach Towel

This towel has been a disaster.  Not because it's bad. Quite the opposite. It's actually a really nice towel.

The problem is that we've been trying to make it special for waaaaaay too long.

We bought the material on October 11, 2024. (616 days ago before launch).

It was supposed to launch with our Tampah Hills collection in May 2025. Then the colors weren't quite right, so we cancelled it.

At one point, Benni had the brilliant idea of turning it into a checkerboard. Then a backgammon board. Then adding a cool pocket and a strap. We explored all of it. None of it worked.

So we kept pushing it. And pushing it. And pushing it.

Then we thought about making the biggest beach towel of all time, like a massive rug. The supplier couldn't make it any bigger.

Nothing seemed to work.

Eventually we had to admit the truth:

It's just a towel.

However, it is a really nice towel.

• 450 gr/m2
• 100% Cotton made from Better Cotton Initiative (BCI)
• Made in Portugal
• It does all the things a towel is supposed to do.
• 80x160 cm

But it isn't revolutionary.
