How do they fit and what size should I choose?
They run true to size, so choose your usual size. If you are between sizes, size up for a little extra room and length. The drawstring helps you dial in the fit either way.

Can I actually surf and swim in them?
Yes, that is the point. The 4-way stretch, quick-dry shell is built for the water and dries fast on the walk back. The pockets zip and the liners are mesh, so nothing fills up when you swim. There is no inner brief or liner, for full flexibility.

How are these different from The Shorts?
Same fabric, longer cut. The Board Shorts run a 7-inch inseam against the 5-inch Shorts, and add belt loops, a two-way drawstring, and a cargo pocket. Built so they read sharp out of the water, not just in it.

Do the pockets hold my essentials?
The zip pockets keep your phone and keys secure through a workout or a swim. The back pocket has an elastic key chain band, and the slanted right cargo pocket drains water instead of holding it.br>

How does the fabric feel?
Full stretch built into the weave, so they move when you do with no break-in. The shell is performance fabric, so it has a technical hand rather than a soft cotton one, that is what makes it quick dry and hard-wearing.
